Day 3

BAT. . . UH OH. . .

"Hey, mate..." you might be thinking "....where's the rest of the drawing?"

Brilliant question. This is another that spans 2 pages in the sketch book. You remember that first post about Inktober, the one in which I said I get overwhelmed, am a people pleaser, try to do to much? Yeah! That one!

Well, that's what happened here. I had more I was going to do, but a double page in color takes a very long time and while I love doing this, I don't want to do this for 6 hours straight. That's unsustainable. So I learned my lesson here. . . as you'll see in the following post (or. . . . not).

On the up side, I do like where this was going. The cricket bat is lovely. And if you're a Walking Dead Watcher (which I'm not and I know is ironic), you might recognize a nod to Lucille at the bottom of the page.
